The geography in plain English

The West Palm waterfront runs along Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue. The city calls the public space the West Palm Beach Waterfront Commons. Centennial Square is the plaza at the east foot of Clematis Street, and the Great Lawn is the grass north of it where Clematis by Night, Screen on the Green, and 4th on Flagler set up. The Lake Pavilion is the white event building on the water at the south end. For event navigation, 100 N. Clematis Street is the address that usually gets you to the right place.

Downtown parking, ranked by use case

The city runs five garages that cover the waterfront, Clematis, CityPlace, the Kravis area, and the Brightline station. Banyan Garage is closest to the waterfront but carries a $5 weekend flat rate. Evernia Garage is closest to CityPlace and the Kravis, also with a $5 weekend flat rate. City Center, Clematis Street, and Sapodilla are the practical GreenMarket garages because they are free during market hours.

GreenMarket logistics

WPB GreenMarket's 2025-26 season has concluded. The city page says the 32nd season opens Saturday, October 3, 2026; the prior season ran Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Waterfront Commons, with free market-hours parking at City Center, Clematis, and Sapodilla garages. Recheck the city page before planning around the next season.

Brightline access

West Palm Beach Station is at 260 Quadrille Plaza Drive, with parking at 501 Evernia Street. From the waterfront, it is roughly a 7-10 minute walk west. Trains run direct to Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Miami, and Orlando. Brightline also connects with downtown mobility options, including Circuit shuttles and bike rentals.

Circuit and bike valet

Circuit is the free electric shuttle that ties downtown stops together through the Circuit app. It is useful when parking away from the waterfront, arriving by Brightline, or moving between CityPlace, the Norton, and the event lawn. During GreenMarket season, bike valet works like coat check: hand over the bike, get a claim ticket, and retrieve it when you leave.
